Your role will involve, but is not limited to:

  • answering telephone calls, responding to routine inquiries, directing calls to the appropriate parties in a professional mamner
  • taking and relaying messages, providing excellent service to customers who call, scheduling sales appointments
  • light accounting (accounts payable, invoicing, bank deposits)
  • general office duties, such as data entry, filing and maintaining records
  • maintaining and ordering office and breakroom supplies
  • providing clerical support to assist other departments

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:

  • knowledge of office practices, procedures, and equipment
  • superior organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
  • accurate typing skills and data entry abilities, attention to detail
  • excellent phone etiquette; ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service
  • ability to learn customer specific software; previous knowledge of Quickbooks a plus
  • fluent with Microsoft Office (i.e. Word and Excel)

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years previous experience in office environment, preferred but not required
  • excellent attendance record

Compensation:

  • starting pay ranges from $15 to $18 per hour, based on level of experience
  • pay increase after successful 90 day review
